Metal Work: Alligator

Created: Access Art & Design, September 2003.

Don't you just have those spikey days? I know I do. The mind can make you do all kinds of funny things when you create! I wanted to reproduce a more mature lizard. It ended up an alligator and as they where spikey I ended up welding nails and screws all over it. I have to admit from a health and safety point of view it was simply dangerous, but I was very pleased with the final piece. The S-Shape resembles the way the alligator moves through water.
