The Lisbon Metro:

City and Representation

Art and Media Degree, Year 1, Shot: Febuary 2004.

This project contained a field trip to Lisbon, Portugal with the Photography Year 1 students. I decided to photograph the Metro (underground) to experiment with shutter speeds, perspective, tripod work, plus to photograph people and the glorious artwork. This was my second project in colour photography as I wished to practice and imporove these skills. All images were produced traditionally in a darkroom.

These images are too large to scan so I photographed them with a digital camera. I aim to scan them on a larger scanner as these photographs do not show there quality and sharpness.
