'THE HOLGA'

This is my first 'foray' into Holga photography.

The Holga is a fun toy camera which takes 120 medium format film and my friend sent it to me. The Holga camera is said to have light leaks, which varies from camera to camera. In order to reduce fogging you tape up the camera. While I was working on my first Art and Media degree Photography project. This project was based on Farnham where I study at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design.

This image was double exposed as you manually wind on the film and so I chose to take two pictures of the same subject matter just from slightly different angles. The negative was underexposed and so I found it a challenge to correct the colour, but I feel that it has come out surprisingly well.
