Have a look at the letter that us fans purchased, which Brent wrote whilst onstage at 1776.
The money raised for the original sale of these letters (through eBay) has gone to the charity of Brent's choice.
None have been sold for profit.

Please view Brent's cover letter to see his wishes which where totally respected and followed.

Brent Signing Autograph

My Review ~

I went to see 1776 in Sept, 1997. I came all the way from the UK, as many did, and it was worth the flight. I had the pleasure of seeing Tom Aldredge and Michael Cumpsty outside the Roundabout, but missed meeting Merwin Ford, which was a true shame. I also met Brent on two occassions. He seems to draw a mixture of fans; it makes me wonder where some of these people come from!! :) The time I met him, there where two autograph hunters out the front who wouldn't let him go. He looked visibly irritated, but held his manners. He is equally charming in person, and I look forward to meeting him again.

(Ahhh, but is it those sunglasses? see picture above ^ and the person with a six foot grin is dear old me! )

The cast of 1776 were quite wonderful. The ones who stood out were the extremley funny Merwin Ford and fantastically stuffy President of Congress, Richard Poe. I seemed to be complaining of the heat all day to; us Brits just can't handle the US weather!! :) Linda Emmond's voice was simply breathtaking. She has the most wonderful voice, and singing next to Brent just makes the duet complete. Now we all wish we could be Abigail !!
